Mercedes-Benz India introduces limited-series GLE, GLS ‘Night Edition’ SUVs
The German carmaker has released limited-series versions of its GLE and GLS SUVs in India, priced between Rs. 1.05 crore and Rs. 1.43 crore, with exclusive Alpine Grey and Obsidian Black finishes, upgraded interiors and restricted unit availability.
Mercedes-Benz India has introduced limited-series ‘Night Edition’ versions of its GLE and GLS sport utility vehicles (SUVs), two of the company’s highest-selling models in the country.
The GLE 300d Night Edition is priced at ₹1.05 crore (ex-showroom, all-India) and the GLE 450 Night Edition at ₹1.14 crore. The GLS 450 Night Edition is ₹1.41 crore, while the GLS 450d Night Edition is ₹1.43 crore.
The special editions are available in Alpine Grey and Obsidian Black, with darkened exterior styling and interior upgrades including black Nappa leather upholstery, Anthracite open-pore oak wooden trim and a Head-Up Display. The GLE Night Edition also features AIRMATIC suspension, which is not offered on the standard model.

India ranks among Mercedes-Benz’s top global markets for both the GLE and GLS SUVs. The company said the Night Edition models form part of a global limited series with restricted unit availability.
“Continuous product innovation for customers through new products, their facelifts, and exclusive editions has been core to Mercedes-Benz’s successful product strategy in India; consistently elevating the brand’s desirability. GLE and GLS are undisputed segment leaders in the luxury SUV category in India, elevating India into Mercedes-Benz’s top global markets for these SUVs,” said Santosh Iyer, Managing Director & CEO, Mercedes-Benz India.
“The introduction of the ‘Night Edition’ with bespoke design, curated interiors, exclusive appointments and a sharper focus on personalisation, makes the SUVs highly exclusive and unmatched in appeal. As our discerning customers increasingly seek vehicles that reflect their individuality, the GLE and GLS ‘Night Edition’ sets a new standard in differentiated luxury, reinforcing Mercedes-Benz’s leadership in top-end luxury SUV space,” Iyer added.
India has emerged as one of Mercedes-Benz’s top global markets for both the GLE and GLS SUVs, reinforcing their success in the country’s luxury SUV segment.
The GLS Night Edition, Mercedes-Benz India’s flagship luxury SUV, applies the same limited-edition design philosophy to a larger canvas. The black exterior character is amplified at the GLS scale, while the interior upgrades extend the cabin’s premium character.
