Hero MotoCorp launches Super Splendor XTEC 2.0 at ₹86,500
The Indian motorcycle manufacturer has introduced an updated version of its 125cc commuter model featuring a digital instrument cluster, Bluetooth connectivity
Hero MotoCorp, the world’s largest manufacturer of motorcycles and scooters, has launched Super Splendor XTEC 2.0, a new variant, priced at ₹86,500 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The Super Splendor XTEC 2.0, comes with technology upgrades, and is positioned for everyday commuting. It comes with a 124.7cc single-cylinder engine that generates 10.7 brake horsepower (BHP) at 7,500 revolutions per minute (RPM) and torque of 10.6 Newton metres (Nm) at 6,000 RPM, the company said in a statement.
The power unit incorporates Advanced Programmed Fuel Injection (APFI), an i3S (Idle Stop-Start System) and provides a mileage of 72 kilometres per litre (kmpl).

With its trusted performance and reliability, everyday practicality and an elevated riding experience, the Super Splendor XTEC 2.0 further strengthens Hero MotoCorp’s leadership in the segment while reaffirming its commitment to delivering superior value to its customers,” Ashutosh Varma, Chief Business Officer (CBO), India Business Unit (IBU) at Hero MotoCorp said.
Design elements include dual-tone body graphics, a 3D emblem, and dual-textured seating. The model is available in five colours – Glossy Black, Candy Blazing Red, Matt Axis Grey, Matt Nexus Blue, and Matt Chestnut Brown – with front disc brake and a handlebar-mounted engine kill switch.
It also has hazard lights that enable activation of all four indicators at the same time.
The chassis uses a telescopic front suspension, a wide rear grab rail, and an upright handlebar arrangement to support the rider and pillion.
